In honor of Dauphiné

For the first time this season, Movistar Team will bring together three of its main banners in the same race: Alejandro Valverde, Miguel Ángel López and Enric Mas. It will be for the Critérium du Dauphiné, a World Tour competition traditionally used as a touchstone for many of the great candidates for victory a few weeks later in the Tour de France.

This is a race that Valverde has conquered on two occasions: 2008 and 2009, joining his name to historical winners such as Anquetil, Poulidor, Merckx, Ocaña, Hinault, Lemond, Indurain or Froome.

For the 2021 edition, the organization has prepared a menu of eight stages -from Sunday to Sunday- standing out the ITT on Wednesday and the final two days ending at La Plagne and Les Gets.

A very tough route where Movistar Team will have a large part of its gala team. In addition to the three leaders, they will have Carlos Verona, Imanol Erviti, José Joaquín Rojas and Jorge Arcas.
