Alejandro Valverde begins his recovery at the Hospital de Molina

Movistar Team cyclist Alejandro Valverde has started his recovery this morning at the Hospital de Molina after being operated in Germany on the fracture in his left leg as a result of the fall suffered in the inaugural stage of the Tour de France 2017.

The recovery, coordinated by the sports traumatologist, Dr. Francisco Esparza Ros with the medical staff of Movistar Team, consists of an intensive physiotherapy treatment to recover his injury.

The 37-year-old rider is looking forward to his recovery.
