Alejandro takes seven in Abu Dhabi Tour third stage

One more time on the attack

Alejandro’s Garmin marked nothing less than 54° C this morning at the start of Abu Dhabi Tour stage 3 (140 km). The stage, finishing at the top of difficult Jebel Hafeet climb suited Alejandro’s qualities.

World number one’s attack at 7 km from the finish selected the front group.

Alejandro took seven at the end of the stage, 1’17” behind Colombian Esteban Chávez who won in solo.
