This afternoon in Ponferrada, Alejandro finished at the second place of the Spanish Road Championship while his team-mate Ion Izagirre won the national title.

Both Movistar Team riders crossed the finishing line in the lead after a 200, 8 km race that took place on the course that will be used in September on the occasion of the World Championship.
