Medals and crashes for the Valverde Team

Regional track championships and XII Vuelta a Valdapeña

The track regional championships took place on May 4 in Torre Pacheco. The Valverde Team won three medals.

Bronze in the sprint event for José Antonio García Linares; silver in the team sprint event  (Fulgencio Estebán Latorre, Mario Carrasco Ayen and José Antonio García Linares); silver in the point race for José Antonio García Linares.

In the XII Vuelta a Valdepeña, a race that took place on Sunday 12 May, three riders of the team were the victims of spectacular crashes: Jesús Saorin, Javi Tortosa and Fulgencio Estebán. Fulgencio broke his collarbone and won’t be able to compete during the next three weeks.
