Alejandro defeated Johnny Hoogerland and Vincenzo Nibali in the sprint.

After he took part in the  Criterium of Ninove (Belgium), Alejandro participated the day after in the Criterium of Roosendaal (The Netherlands), also called ‘De Draai van de Kaai’.

Alejandro won the race in the sprint ahead of Dutchman Johnny Hoogerland and Italian Vincenzo Nibali.
